    I think you have the answer,

    many of us are not concerned compared to the last 6 years.

    Personally I am far more concerned how the 300bn debt is paid off, and by whom.

    here is my proposal

    there are 23 million people in Australia, and a couple of million others so lets say 25m

    everyone pays $85 per month, that is $1,000 a year.
    total is 25 bn per year, so in 12 years we are debt free, ignoring interest of course.

    no means test, no escape clauses, it can be called the pay off the debt charge.

    compared to the PPL proposal that you seem so scared of you should not have any issues if we all pay our share
