If rudd was raised in such poverty where does the posh accent come from?

My impressions is that gillard purposely uses that "slow-talking-to-dumb-2-year-olds-bogan drone" of hers to bore people to death and attempt to make her droning zero content rants such a turn off so that by the time she pauses to take a breath, everyone has fallen asleep and forgotten what questions they meant to ask...

And of course if someone does get a question in somehow, gillard can continue to rant with the same slow-talking-to-dumb-2-year-olds-bogan drone" so that hopefully they wont realize that she hasnt answered the question at all but just continued to rant...

Tony Abbott certainly has a very Australian accent that immediately makes a connection with the commnon man and woman despite his time at Oxford a Rhodes Scholar...

It is good to see Tony Abbott is faithfull to his roots and doesnt put of phony pretentious accents like rudd (posh upper class) or gillard ("slow-talking-to-dumb-2-year-olds-bogan drone")
