The impacts from this new cyclone will be another example I fear where their models are wrong!
They're currently forecasting rain for Southern Queensland inland areas...my experience, unless it crosses south of Mackay and North of Rockhampton , will be rain east of the Ranges chiefly (or close to); or rain in the far West if cyclone crosses far north and instead of going to the gulf or the Territory it heads south into western Queensland as a rain depression.
Time and time again they get that one wrong, as in they're saying it will likely cross North of Mackay, yet their rain models predict rain for southern inland Queensland!
