Such a pathetic analysis that actually belies the fact you can obviously read and write, which i presume happened at a school, which was partly or totally govt funded.
You may have noticed that weather conditions can change abruptly rendering BoM forecasts out of date almost before they're issued.
I've used BoM data and analysis for decades including at work and found that they're mostly on the money. They do a great job in difficult circumstances.
Examples that you isolate of them missing the mark, i suggest have no meaning. Or, are just isolated examples.
To extend your thinking to the bitter end, why not outsource Australian defense to say China, they'd do it better cheaper and we wouldn't have these bloodsucking leeching Australian public servants like special forces soldiers, just operating for their own good rather than for Australia's benefit.
What about sell and lease back naval vessels? The FA18s?
