MAK management are clumsy at times, of course in this case they are being advised on the takeover. So either they didn't run it past the advisors or the advisors stuffed up.
I also thought this 7 day extension might be debatable but didn't feel like digging my way through more of the corporations act.
At 75% nobody is going to really going to care so these things won't get tested by the takeovers panel, but a clarification tomorrow by MAK that they can no longer change the consideration is possible.
