lets just observe just how it all is playing out -

israel's bombing the gaza strip into non existence doesn't seem to make ay difference to world economies....

there is an abundance of oil in the world with out having to depend on the small ammount ISIS has control of.....and ISIS is not going any further into IRAQ - the US will ensure that this doesn't happen.......

I believe the main threat to the world economies is Russia's now obvious intent to escalate the war in the Crimea......

as I see it the west will not actively engage with Russia in battle but instead take out ever increasing trade sanctions against it..... and Russia will also increase the anti with trade sanctions also.......thus crippling Europe and Russia's economies.......I think that it is unlikely (no matter how much draghi loosens money supply in the EU) that it will offset the looming economic problems that are going to stem from this war

I don't really know they are just my thoughts .... it would be good to find out what some of the clever investors are doing in this area.......??????

I have been expecting the euro stocks to go down because of all of the above but the markets over there seem to think that "money printing" will save them .... have I got that right ????

ie. at this time of the evening the DAX and the US indices are holding ground or going up
so i am not understanding the markets in the EU but will just have to observe i guess ...... you would think something would have to happen there soon like the big drop in the markets of a few weeks back ?????

would it be worth accumulating shorts on the DAX (small in size) as the dax continues to rise ???

i have got a number of shorts for stocks lined up, as the indexes are at the top of their trading bands, but nothing wants to come down at the moment......
