The Bonikro Gold Project will move in to full construction phase as soon as the executed investment convention is received. The development timetable has been aided by the earlier purchase of long lead capital items such as the SAG mill, crushers and electrical transformer. Engineering design and detailing work is also well advanced.
Clearing of access roads and the plant site area is already underway. The Company is also in a position to award key construction contracts (particularly concrete and steelwork fabrication and erection) very shortly.
The current development schedule is targeting commencement of gold production in April 2008.
