Don't forget to re read them again 6 months down the track. I bought 3 Van Tharp books in a deal and after reading them a few months later was looking for answers. Thought that I'd taken in a fair bit of what was in them but after some trading experience and getting dusted up in seconds a couple of times re read them and quickly realised that I missed probably 90% the first time through and the answers were in them.
The Trade your way to financial freedom book has some forsight in it when it was written which is now history as time has passed so it will give you a good feel for his views.
