Yes, I believe you are right. And certainly a good long time ago, but in a pleasant part of the memory bank.
To your recent post regarding Dickens, I think I had only read Oliver, at school...which is also a long time ago, until a few years ago my teenage son brought home a text and I decided to read that immediately, in rapid fashion. Why I cannot recall the title I'm damned if I know because I thoroughly enjoyed it, plot, characters and writing style.
Now that I'm about to find myself with greater freedom to read again, (long awaited), I'm so glad you've recommended Bleak House, which I'd heard of but never ventured near.
