    As a person who started to read "proper" books at 6y/o (everyone in our house read books all the time) I continued to read literally everything that I could lay my hands on --- now at 88 y/o and as a result of two botched cataract operations I no longer have that pleasure

    So keep reading as long as possible as it is one of the major pleasures that we humans have, and when I see young people who never read, it makes me very sad that they are denying themselves all the wealth of pleasure and knowledge that is between those pages

    Can't cope with audio books as there are no pages for my hands to caress and turn
