I'm pleased to say that my grandchildren have been surrounded by books and puzzles from a very young age. I made sure of that. My 3-year-old granddaughter tells me that she doesn't need to go to school because she can already read and knows her numbers. And she does. I showed her photos of my last trip, one of an iceberg, she sat looking at it for ages and asked how big was it under the water to be able to hold it up so that we can see part of it. I was stunned!!!! Heaven help her teachers when she does go.
