I volunteered at my son's school. Along with a couple of other parents was seated at a table with 6 pupils. One of them I knew well. They had been given a task to complete and hand to us for marking. He handed me his work, I just looked at it, and him, then screwed it up and placed it in the bin. Don't ever hand me rubbish like this, do it again. He certainly did, and you would swear someone else had completed it. A bright young man who was totally bored and thought nobody really cared. How many like him just went through the public system. I wonder what will happen with my granddaughter.
