A good writer can elicit in the reader all the sensory perceptions; in my years of reading I have sat, or lain entranced, absorbing the descriptive passages, all the while feeling the warmth of the sun, sniffing the smells wafting on the breeze, sensing the stinging sands blown around my legs, and falling, falling falling for the beauty who I was just introduced to in the last chapter .
Without any doubt, the pen is mightier than the sword, or even a sward of swords.
