Decided a while ago to read some of the "Classics". Standouts for me were The Grapes of Wrath, The Last of the Mohicans and surprisingly Moby Dick, which was so much more than I thought it was going to be.
That said, I love scifi/space opera. My favourite being Pandoras Star by Peter F Hamilton or anything by Iain M Banks (which funnily enough, I share with Elon Musk)
