Maybe this is not such a coincidence as I thought.
Two of the most prolific English writers off the 19th century were Charles Dickens and Anthony Trollope. (The French writer Balzac probably beats them both for output)
Two of the most prolific writers of the 20th century were their descendants: Monica Dickens (great granddaughter) and Joanna Trollope, great grand niece.
