Would be very interested to hear whether any books you may have read have influenced your thought process or in fact made a difference to your life and why.

I read " Rich dad, Poor Dad", and, "What they don't teach you at Harvard". Certainly changed my way of thinking, taught me to really think outside the square to solve difficult situations and find financial solutions.
Rich Dad, Poor Dad, the solution for him was the real estate market, mine was the stock market, even though at the time I knew absolutely nothing about it.I read also , The Wolf on Wall Street, and its sequel, and taught me to look at the market through new eyes.

What they dont teach you at Harvard, was about finding and then creating a niche market. Mark McCormack firstly signed up Arnold Palmer (the golfer) and then proceeded to sign all the greatest sports people in their specialist field. The rest is history. One very wealthy man.

The theme in both books, the determination and belief that they would achieve their goals, irrespective of how many setbacks they encountered.
If you don't care about losing, you certainly don't care about wining.

Travels of an Independent Woman, is the book which is motivating me for the next 12mths or so, so that I can indulge in my greatest love, travel.

    Cheers
