I certainly wouldn't buy in Kununurra, Derby or Broome. Well over priced. KNX hasn't moved in years. Broome town struggling big time. Check out the listings in Broome.....real estate in Broome is in a bad place. Many empty rentals, business closing down or for sale. Even the second fish and chips shop closed down.
Derby spiked with the opening of the Prison last year. A lot of private house rented to the government for Prison staff. Starting to settle down a bit.
Better of buying in the city. County areas are in for a little shock IMO.
