Why the hell is there such a focus on what people do for their careers in this thread. Technically I have the qualifications to be a rocket scientist but it is rather irrelevent same as whether you have a MBA, PhD etc etc. All that matters when it comes to property investment is having the ability to pick the right property for your individual investment strategy and being able to manage it within the confines of that strategy. If you can do that generally with time you will be successful. It is not a sexy get rich quick scheme but it is a fantastic way to build wealth. There are plenty of people out there with letters after their names that couldn't save a dollar to save themselves and/or do not have the nouse to translate theory into actual working practice.
