Realistically, is this likely? Let’s be optimistic, and say Redflow could expand their production capacity to 500/month with the Thai factory. That’s 2.5MW per month. So 280 months to output 700MW if all output is directed to Origin unless they b?uild a bigger factory. How long to build a bigger factory? Or if they outsource what’s to prevent another Flex situation? Can you really see Origin signing a deal while the factory is not even started? So what sort of deal realistically could Origin sign? Would Origin be interested in a partial deal of one year’s output, say 25MW ZBM and 675MW something else - or is that just a distraction?
just feel a more likely step from here is focussing on the telco market and micro grids or single installations which will be slower steadier growth until they can justify a new factory; then build it; then get 100MW contracts. Seems a couple of years away.
