I think the profit growth will take place quicker than that.
Management have already noted they have been able to reprice their back book so the above statement about funding cost is where they might be particularly out.
More broadly, a strong rally is coming. US PPI is showing inflation beaten and by March the market will have had it confirmed, CAPE for the S&P is at 10 year lows, and it's likely rates will have peaked by March too.
The scene is set.
