Pains me given the history but took my profit here.
Originally bought in Dec 21 in low 70's before the LFS deal announced. Stupidly held through the kerfuffle around the deal as just couldn't imagine AA choosing to incinerate wealth rather than exit a challenged business at a huge premium to NTA.
Fortunately had funds to triple down when stock traded in the 40's during tax loss selling season to average an entry price in 50's.
Happy to move on at c75% of NTA (adjusting for perpetual note in equity) given think CBs will send us into a co-ordinated global recession shortly. Suspect will be hard for management not to take a decent size collective provision for the macro when the s%*t hits the fan economy wise. Feedback I've had from finance brokers is HUM is a good operator but you can't get away from the fact they are at the pointy end of SME financing.
