Negative article in todays Courier Mail quoting Lehman Brothers from New York as stating that "the commodity boom may be turning into a bubble that coul burst around the end of the year"
"AMP Capital Investors chief economist Shane Oliver agreed the commodity boom may be turning into a bubble and there might be a small correction looming in the next few months,but he did not expect it to burst until 2010 at the earliest"
Sobering thoughts but then you will get some advisers who will say that the commodities boom has only just begun.
I like to think that with the incredible demand from India and China in particular a bust is unlikely in the short to medium term but inevitably there will be some correction at some time because of the stella run we have enjoyed.Knowing when is the trick!!!!
