I laughed a little when I saw the little side-gig comment. I understand what you mean by it, but my initial thought when I saw it was you need to have a main-gig before you can have a side-gig!
Kidding aside the potential in the energy application is massive, but until it becomes a reality the main-gig is the one bringing in the revenue and right now, that's biotech. I pray for the day we have multiple gigs and can choose which becomes lesser in importance to the business.
