Chokdee - where your argument breaks down is assuming same benevolence in US toward China but now US takes a cryptic eye and other things considered would rather move away from China and I believe like US motorists would bear any burden and pay any price to do that and support their leaders in that goal until China decides to rejoin the international community after time in the penalty box.
