To be honest, my comparative chart of gold producers shows WAF to be reasonably priced compared to its peers on the basis that Kiaka has been implemented. WAF has indicated a solid commitment to putting Kiaka into production and so I have applied the results of the Feasibility Study for Kiaka as the best figures to use at this. stage.
With Kiaka, WAF has annual production of 440 Koz, an EV to Production of $4099/oz, EV to Reserves of $313/oz and EV to Resources of $149/oz. Don't forget the attributable gold to WAF for Kiaka is 90%.
This compares with PRU on production of 489 Koz pa, an EV to Production of $4549/oz, EV to Reserves of $828/oz and EV to Resources of $388/oz.
Given that WAF is much closer to the Islamic uprising than PRU, the valuations are comparable.
