The device will select its preferred light colour for a given product, eg. blue for niacinamide. However, you can over-ride that by selecting from the colour panel. I'm not sure if that is an intended flexibility feature of the device so that you can tailor your own Boost treatments? We are the beta-testers so I guess we're waiting for the company to collect user feedback and then release a new version of the app + more in depth instruction
