With the big 4 exiting wealth management and AMP appearing to be splitting up its business areas it points at a possible consolidation time in banking. With interest rates to remain low for the foreseeable, likely low investor appetite for international expansion and more competitors with good tech/innovation in the pay after market it could pave the way for some M&A activity. IMO
