No takers? OK, the process for processing mining claims in North America is detailed here:

It doesn't indicate how long the process takes, and if I bump into that information, I'll let the forum know later on.

What I found interesting about the process was "If you have a legal interest in 10 or fewer mining claims nationwide and also meet certain other requirements, you have the option to perform assessment work and file evidence of the assessment work as described below (43 CFR Part 3835). All other claimants must pay an annual maintenance fee per claim or site to the BLM. "

If we add to our number of mining claims in Millard County, it will be interesting to see if we forego these benefits, or whether we register the claim through another entity. Either way, we can now monitor this through "thediggings.com" website. The information is only updated twice monthly directly from the BLM website, but I didn't find the BLM website to be, let's say, user friendly.

SP drifting back a little on no news. Some are choosing to get filthy rich today somewhere else. Mining has a history of not meeting deadlines or targets. It's not for everyone.

If you're interested in the project, and I find it has a lot of potential, maybe start with a small holding, and build upon it if good results come and you can then build upon your position.
