"One of the things to look for in a cobalt project is the co product mix and metallurgy. Needs high ratio of cobalt to copper/nickel value to a reduce the effects of possible falling prices of Ni/Cu. Metallurgy is also important, sulphide hosted is better than say nickel laterite. A lot of the projects getting around are failed nickel laterite or low grade copper projects".
