There will be announcements in due course that will finally clear up what direction all of this is taking but it doesn't take any great depth of thought to work it all out.
Oman has 2 years till 2020, so more copper projects need to be brought online ASAP so that they can stay on track for their 2030 targets.
The players involved have been working towards this for years. Alara is JVd and MOUd to just about every single one of them now. This puts us pretty much at the centre of all future copper projects, along with other mineral opportunities.
