I think people are entitled to say whatever they want. I don't have to agree with it but that is the value of a discussion forum.

I do however remember back to about 2006(?) when I held about 640,000 Arrow Energy (AOE) shares. I was holding them dearly and had been for a year or so. I was absolutely convinced that they would one day make me a lot of money.

Well, one Christmas a close relative of mine came visiting and I explained to her what I was doing. She rolled her eyes towards the sky and made some very negative comments.

Over the next few days I became increasingly more agitated and unsure of myself and my grand plan. I sold those shares and a few weeks later bought some others. Within 6 months I had lost all of my profit and was back to my original stake.

If I had held those shares until today they would now be worth $2.84 million!

I can't guarentee anything, and crying about the past never got anyone anywhere, but I am damned if I am selling just yet.
