Pinto...I don't believe I have been advocating we get Nucks...I support AUKUS, but not because of subs...other parts of it, including cooperation, and yes, missiles.... I suspect that subs will become obsolete as underwater drone technology advances more.
And looking at Ukraine, without the nuclear deterrent; and Putin holding the West off with Nuclear threats, I would think if AUKUS means we get nuclear missiles, so be it...if they are useful...the advanced non nuclear missiles may be enough of a deterrent considering our Geography, i do not know.
I don't think your mate Macrons approach yielded anything either
