Fort Cady was fully permitted for construction and operation in 1994. The two key land use permits and Environmental Impact Study remain active and in good standing (this relates only to phase 1 - 82 ktpa). In order to commence construction, AP requires the reinstatement of the previously held air quality permit. Also, a water related permit must be obtained.
