Wife ,kids, a paid off house.
Not going to sell first house as I need it for work.
I need a second house as kids doing high school in Perth.
I could go for a cheap house but it would probably mean in a few years I would up grade. Not to mention time and fuel traveling to school if I go cheap.
Last couple of years my pay has been great( well I think so) but in the fishing game it can go pear shaped quickly.
Have a bit over $50k equity loan for shares but no other things like car or credit card loans.
Last time I went to the bank they hummed and harred about giving me the equity loan.
I shouldn't have a problem but I want to be able to stick it to them if they give me the run around.
Going to ask the big four and will change everything to whoever has the best deal.
