Automotive supplier Bosch abandons its own battery cell production
STUTTGART (dpa-AFX) - The automotive supplier Bosch is not entering the production of battery cells. "Bosch will continue to buy cells in the future," said Managing Director Rolf Bulander on Wednesday in Stuttgart. It is assumed that the battery cell will become a standardized mass product, which one understands but does not necessarily have to produce itself. "Cell manufacturing is not critical to our success," Bulander said.
