Australia’s share market could set a record closing high on Monday, riding a wave of investor enthusiasm as the US Federal Reserve prepares to hand down its first interest rate cut in more than four years.Futures indicate the S&P/ASX 200 Index will open 16 points or 0.2 per cent higher from Friday’s 8099.9 points, and be poised to break the 8114.7 points record set in August.
All we can ask is a new ATH at close, keep chipping away.
