i now genuinely think Israel is just a different side of same coin kind of deal.
It's most definitely not a liberal democratic western state. They believe in prophesies and try make them happen. Bibi is advised by a rabbi who believes in a prophecy where Jews are meant to sin badly on earth, then the world apparently turns against them and that is supposedly God's punishment. Then the true messiah arrives after the world attacks them.
