He talks about punters; this is a speculative stock after all so it shouldn't be a surprise. You'd be pretty naïve to not appreciate the risk associated with speculative stocks.

1801's announcement was a textbook example of the risk of speculative stocks being realised; we'll never know the intricate details, but at the end of the day, the result is all that matters to influence the SP.

The BOT narrative has evolved a lot since then; we'll see what comes. The more 'tickets' in the raffle, the more chance of success ... and BOT has a few extra tickets now.

I'm happy to play. But if you want security, go buy a blue chip stock ... you'll have enough capital gains to buy yourself a large maccas meal in 12 months time (which beats a loss).
