Interestingly, study/review 6 in this article published Dec 2022 "Cannabinoid Compounds as a Pharmacotherapeutic Option for the Treatment of Non-Cancer Skin Diseases" (https://www.mdpi.com/2073-4409/11/24/4102) showed what receptors in the skin do and how they affect some skin diseases. Citing that they found CB1 and CB2 receptors among others downregulated Psoriasis and Atopic Dermatitis.



This study also references the influence on acne and sebaceous glands and further notes on dermatitis. The article/study references other studies that are older but an interesting read nonetheless and some may find useful. Sections are below:




From what I can understand and gather from my limited scientific knowledge, is that it's quite likely and there is a lot of evidence to suggest cannabinoid compounds have the ability to treat numerous non-cancer skin diseases, of which BOT has three key products pipelined in this space.
