They had nearly $9m in the bank at the start of the year - and no trials being conducted, so not a lot of expenses there. If they've done some sort of deal with their manufacturer of choice (who they've utilised before) then I think it's quite possible they could pay the $4m in October and still have some money in the bank for marketing etc, before they start earning.
They seemed pretty confident that they could go production & distribution alone, so hopefully that might mean without another CR. Or as Benno points out above, maybe a sweetheart licensing deal with a BP company with a view to buyout a year or so later!
