The Saturn V control system, I believe, had a random jiggle injected into its control system to make the rocket track better.
Gauss probably helped Allianz compute more accurate life tables.
Racing car drivers jiggle the steering wheel.
I once referred to the Journal of Aeronautics and Astronautics in a paper related to economics.
The bots inject bids and offers to delineate market parameters and then extract surplus.
So I think it is rocket science.
