Btx1801 disrupts the biofilm of gram positive bacteria, meaning that resistance is not able to be developed. See article below

Development of antimicrobials is never going to be easy, but the upside is enormous. The phase 2b study is just one example of its use - if Blaskovich/Botanix can prove this works without long-term resistance it will be a global groundbreaking product(s).
