plantar yes, hands no as the risk of it being transferred to the eye. it is effective for around 10 days post application so you can imagine the damage it would do. this is why we had the delay with applicator instructions and hand washing, it's a non trivial risk.
also I don't think they can do any advertising or discussion of non approved items to GP or prescribers
