Just a couple more thoughts on a takeover. Having lived through one recently, they are messy and exciting, and will leave you scratching your head more than once.
Read the paperwork carefully, especially the part that tells you WHEN you will get paid, as that can actually be some months later.
With a company like BOT and products like these, if there is a takeover offer, I would expect multiple companies interested.
Equally, with a company like BOT, they have the nouse to go it alone and join the BP ranks.
With BOT publicly considering 1% of the market, many of you have noticed that this seems very conservative. BP will probably have similar thoughts and calculations.
As was stated in an earlier post, the big end of town gets what they want, and they can be brutal in their approach. For them, it's simply a business decision. So, if there is a takeover offer, adopt the same approach: it isn't personal, it's just business.
Here's cheers to the whole BOT family for holding the faith and getting this far. The rewards are coming.
