Any potential takeover would not desire an immediate departure of BOT management. Securing Howie as CEO means that he would continue to lead and drive SB sales, while also overseeing the pipeline post-acquisition of BOT.

Heck the pure fact that they employed Vince. Do I even need to educate yourself on this subject?

As it has been suggested around here, the company will assert publicly that they are fully committed to commercial development, thereby enhancing their negotiating position. They will maintain that they intend to commercialize and plan accordingly, right up until the final moment.

The signs are evident, and naturally, it's every small pharmaceutical company's dream to receive a takeover bid.
