    Mix Contract Talent, a division of Mix Talent, is building a new team of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives who will be working on behalf of our client, Botanix, to launch their lead dermatology product, Sofdra™. This will be the first commercialized product in the U.S. for Botanix, who is committed to the development and commercialization of novel treatments for common skin diseases and infections.

    Physical Work Location: Field Based
    Preferred Residential Cities: Newark, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore/Washington D.C., Boston

    Position Overview & Responsibilities:
    The District Manager (DM) will serve as a front-line field sales leader accountable for building, leading, motivating, and coaching a field-based team of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives in a defined geographical area. This position will be responsible for directing all tactical field sales efforts and for ensuring the successful attainment of all district sales goals and objectives, as well as managing an operating budget.

    • Hire, Coach, Develop, and Motivate
      • Recruit, interview, hire, coach, train, and develop a top performing sales team
      • Conduct field rides and follow-up coaching to support the development of team members and execution of strategic initiatives
      • Identify additional training needs and work with internal stakeholders to develop and conduct training to best help the team
      • Empower and inspire a team toward a common vision
    • Business Ownership & Strategic Management
      • Drive account ownership with full involvement of account stakeholders to ensure strong understanding of product(s) and pull through for patient access
      • Effectively use data and analytical tools to better determine how to achieve sales goals, use resources, and identify any additional needs to achieve goals
      • Develop and implement strategic business plans to maximize District and individual territory sales
    • Teamwork
      • Be a collaborative team member who consistently shares best practices and helps all team members to thrive
      • Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure district and territory success
    • Market Intelligence
      • Stay updated on industry trends, new product developments, and the competitive landscape
      • Gather, analyze, and provide regular reports to client leadership team around market data, customer feedback, and competitor insights to help shape strategy
    • Meetings
      • Help to develop and deliver content and/or participate in sales meetings and trainings


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university?
    • 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, with at least 3+ of those years managing a field-based team
    • Previous product launch experience preferred
    • Medical dermatology experience requiring a prior authorization preferred
    • Proven and consistent track record of achieving sales goals
    • Ability to recruit, retain and develop a quality team and reinforce strong account management skills
    • Strong knowledge of reimbursement landscape and proven ability to support prior authorization process
    • Ability to adapt to a changing environment in distribution and fulfillment of prescription products
    • Experience in other cross-functional areas is a plus (e.g., sales training, marketing, managed care)
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Must live near a major airport as significant overnight travel may be required
    • Proficiency in use of CRM software and Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
