When i first saw these at 1k+ US$ per script my initial reaction was you can't be serious. Who would pay that just to stop sweating.
I then recalled my initial visit to my dermatologist re my psoriasis. He eventually put me on Tremfya which he referred to as liquid gold. It needs special approval from govt and only after you have exhausted all avenues.
it costs $8k per script!! A script is 3 doses over 6 months It's fixing the same kind of thing..... a skin issue. It's of course covered by PBS so I just pay normal script fee. Not sure I would be paying if it were not covered - in fact I know I wouldn't.
but it puts the US sofdra costs in perspective. It's what it costs, and it's what is paid for these sorts of drugs that have sole supplier status.
