Yeah, it's an industry! There's plenty of very inadequate books, particularly e-books, getting around now that have been created using AI. Many lack any actual detail (such as this one) and most lack the authenticity of being written by a human. That said though, the industry is refining itself and there are now dedicated, book-writing AI apps & programs out there for both fiction and non-fiction.

I don't think it's a question of this madness stopping, it's more a question of where it is going to take us. AI is going to be the biggest disruptor in human history!
