Market is definitely forward facing - that's why BOT is priced in the 30's even though it isn't making money yet (other than a few hundred grand in royalties). That's why as they announce progression towards actual sales, the SP will go up that bit more, each time. And yes, FOMO will play a part in that - just not in a big way for BP I suspect - yet!
Whilst Japan is an easy starting point, compare SB sales with Qbrexza sales there, and extrapolate both to the US market. Simply put, the US is not translating those same sales figures for Japan Qbrexza in the US. So the question is - will Sofdra?
BOT will/do have a superior platform and sales strategy, aided by a huge war chest, so I am sure the numbers will be demonstrated, but like I said, BP want certainty. It's no skin off their nose to buy late and make only 30% for shareholders compared to buying too early and potentially losing money for their SH's (even if potentially there was a 300% profit).
