lol.... HI all, read this & you'll have something to think about:

the bots DO NOT lower any price of any stock.

our REACTION to them is what lowers the price of the stock becuase we sell!!

everything equal, a bot can only sell the amount given to them whether in 1 lot or on 500 lots, the amount sold will never pull back any SP unless there ISN'T enough buyers to keep SP as is or even higher!!!

Bots give an impression of urgency to take a decision & very soon after everyone is used to them they'll be useless!!!

if a bot is buying say 10,000 shares every 2 minutes & if ANYONE is in the market to sell TODAY or within few days (e.g. day trader & short term traders), then the natural reaction will be to sell lower so that person can sell immediately before others step lower & sell ..... therefore, that rush to sell creates the lower price NOT THE BOT selling volume or actual effect on the stock!!

on the contrary, if a bot keeps buying & there's no sellers, then obviously SP will continue to go higher becuase no one is in a hurry to sell & everyone will be pulling their sell orders!!!

a selling bot creates FEAR of a lowering SP & makes those that wanted to sell ON THE SHORT TERM scared of the SP going lower & lower & therefore they'll sell IMMEDIATELY on a lower price before SP falls further by the sells created by the bot.

if there are many buyers or any share is traded on bargain levels, then the existence of the bot is a gift from god to buyers becuase they are getting shares at prices they wouldn't dream of getting & if plenty of those buyers are around then they'll all COMPETE on getting the auto sells by stepping AHEAD OF EACH OTHERS & that will bring up the SP.

therefore, the only people that REACT (whether negatively or positively) are those with short term outlook.

Anyone with long term outlook wouldn't really make a decision to sell their shares that they've hold for year & intend to hold for years to come becuase the bot MAY LOWER the SP today!!

therefore, the bot can sell/buy 1,000 shares for exampel & if SP is too high then many sellers will COMPETE to sell FIRST, if SP is too low then many buyers will COMPETE to buy first.

the bot itself only created the rush to make a decision & it didn't make any stocks go up or down with its selling or buying shares (example in AAR yesterday when end of the day only 20,000 shares were bought by the bot)

if we (shareholders) got confused & sold/bought incorrectly or PANICED then that was the main intention of the bot.

therefore, the bot main intention is to make us PANIC & it is succeeding in doing that if we see immediate reaction in SP up or down.

if our panic translates to actions, then the BOT benefits.

therefore, BOT only benefits if our response to its existence TRANSLATES to actoin.

if we (shareholders) ignore it, then obviously no damage is done.

that IGNONORING or no reaction is what happened in AAR yesterday!!!

the bot came & went & it didn't move a hair to anyone!!

so it is very important to understand that OUR REACTION to the bot is what creates the damage not the bot actions themselves!!!

if you ask me, I don't mind the bots but I feel sorry for those who panic. many people live on day trading & short term trading & that bot system will end their careers!!!
